SA Community Celebrates Visual Arts at the Boca Art Museum

With over 600 attendees, Saint Andrew’s community members enjoyed a night of fine arts at the Boca Raton Museum of Art on Monday, March 4. The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Arts parent group, was attended by students and their families from the Lower, Middle, and Upper schools. 

Families enjoyed the art created by more than 250 Saint Andrew’s student artists and musical selections provided by student musicians from the Middle School Intermediate Orchestra and Upper School Jazz Band. 

Interim Visual Arts Department Chair Cathy Jennings said,

“I appreciate Friends of the Arts for partnering with the Visual Arts faculty to curate such a beautiful event. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase and celebrate the talents of many of our student artists across divisions with the larger community.” 

President of Friends of the Arts (FOA) Suzie Cornell also shared gratitude for the successful night. 

“On behalf of Friends of the Arts, I want to extend a huge thank you to Museum Night at the Boca Raton Art Museum co-chairs Debbie Bolooki and Lindsay Kesselman, along with all the volunteers who helped make the night a huge success. A special thank you to Cathy Jennings and the entire Visual Arts department for their endless support of our students' creativity and for their extra time and commitment to helping turn the museum into a memorable showcase for our families to enjoy. I also want to thank Laurie Riffe, Director of Performing Arts, along with the Middle School Orchestra and Upper School Jazz Ensemble for including their beautiful music to round out the evening. Last but not least, the support of Kristen Oliver, Director of Events and Community Engagement, and our communications team was immeasurable to round out the success of one our largest community events."
